Three Tips for Better Dog Photography

Bestr Canine Photos

Taking photos of your favorite canine can be frustrating since Fido doesn't know to look into the camera, so Doggie Diva, the best dog Boutique Online, would like to offer you a few tips to try in your pet photography. You don't need to be a pro to take memorable pics of your pup.
  1. 1. Take your doggie outside and use natural light whenever possible. While your pet may seem well lit indoors, fluorescent tubes and light bulbs just do not provide the amount of light that your camera needs to produce a high quality picture. Your pooch is most comfortable outdoors anyway so have fun in the sun!
  2. Get your pet to look at the camera. This is the hardest part, but the trick is to have your camera at the ready so when your pup does look at the camera, you can quickly snap the photo before he gets distracted. If your pooch seems so preoccupied that he won't look at the camera at all, wear him out a little with a game of fetch – you might even be able to get an action shot of him running back to you.
  3. Try different angles to take your photo. Most pet photos are taken from the human perspective from up above, making it harder to really get a good look at your puppy's features. Get on your knees or lower the camera even further and you will produce a shot from the canine perspective to highlight in picture form all of your four legged friend's personality.
